Sinopsis

The concept of fanaticism is basically defined as the excessive, obsessive and even unhealthy valorization or defense of a subject, theme, action or idea (Schwartz, 1998). On the other hand, religious fanaticism can be seen as the inability to accept that the world has a complex diversity and that no one has an absolute truth, thus conceiving a society restricted to a mental or destructive ankylosis (Rodriguez, 2017). The problem is how to deal with religious fanaticism and attachment and its impact on families and society? The aim is to describe the behaviors of a religious fanatic in families and society.
