Sinopsis

UBIX takes readers on a thought-provoking adventure into a future world. The year is 2089 and technology has advanced to play a huge role in all aspects of human lives. The narrative centers around Detective Jess Blair who takes on a case when her former lover Tim Ames mysteriously falls into a coma after encountering an entity called UBIX. Ames, a retired professor, lives in a smart house located in the forests of Humboldt County, California.áBlair soon discovers a connection between Ames and others who have also mysteriously fallen into comas. The enigmatic entity calling itself UBIX claims to be part of a collective alien consciousness that has evolved away from physical form. UBIX seeks omniscience by gathering knowledge from life forms throughout the universe. Blair is in a race against time because she learns that many of the others have not survived and Ames body is failing. Blair must grapple with her unresolved feelings for Ames while dealing with the ominous implications of UBIXâÇÖs mission.UBIX presents a thought-provoking dilemma about the quest for knowledge and the risks that humans take by continuing to rely on technology. As society moves forward with smart technology, we must make sure that we do not lose our humanity in the process.
