Sinopsis

Jean Christophe is a four-part novel series written by French author Romain Rolland. The series follows the life of the titular character, Jean Christophe Krafft, from his birth in Germany to his eventual death in Switzerland. The first book, Dawn, introduces us to Jean?s childhood and his early love of music. The second book, Morning, follows Jean as he becomes a successful composer and conductor in Paris. In Youth, the third book, Jean experiences a crisis of faith and begins to question his place in the world. Finally, in Revolt, the fourth book, Jean becomes involved in political activism and struggles to reconcile his artistic and political aspirations. The series is a sweeping epic that explores the themes of art, love, politics, and the human condition.
