Realm of Five Kingdoms is a fantasy novel that captures the epic battles among fiveempires led by powerful and superhuman leaders during the middle ages, about 500 BC.Marcellus is a war-hungry and blood-thirsty brother of Ortho Arquitius, the aging andlaid-back legitimate emperor of the Roman empire.Emperor Arquitius goes against theáadvice of his acquaintances and attempts to make peace with Marcellus, his archenemywho had had several attempts at his life, and Ennius, the equally malevolent son.In Persia, the equally powerful emperor, Xavier Lambrakis, also attempts to make peacewith Ortho, in the false hope that the world will be a better place for everyone if all thefive powerful kingdoms avoid attacking each other.Lambrakis, the ageing monarch ofáPersia decides to send his only daughter, princess Adonia, to Rome to negotiate peaceterms with the Roman king, Ortho.áBack in Rome, Marcellus, driven by the desire to unseat his brother violently, seizes theopportunity for a peace-building meeting and travels to Rome with Ennius and asizeable force of trusted soldiers. He then evokes his evil powers of altering time andcontrolling minds to execute a ruthless and bloody coup, murdering his brother, thequeen and other guests.In a twist events, Ennius captures Septimus and Adonia (the two had met and fallen inlove with one another). He then imprisons Adonia in the most horrid conditions,humiliates, and then sells Septimus to King Jonathan Hayden of empire of England.Meanwhile, emperor Marcellus and Prince Ennius consolidate power in Rome, much tothe detriment of anyone whom they consider an enemy. The two also decide to actualizetheir expansionist plans by cleverly stoking a conflict between the empire of Egypt andthat of Sparta.áTheir calculations for word domination seem to be working so far whenEgypt attacks Sparta in a mistaken belief that the former was behind a recent attack onthe Egyptian capital. Persia also gets sucked into the growing conflagration by joiningforces with Sparta to completely destroy Egypt.In England, King Hayden discovers who Septimus really is after a series of sacredrevelations. Septimus proves the ancient English legends about the Zolox sword and theGreat War between good and evil. Septimus then gets a new ally in King Hayden andtravels back to Persia to join forces with emperor Lambraskis to prevent humanity frombeing engulfed by the evil forces of Marcellus and Ennius.á
